L’interrogation survient quand l’image se structure, un détail induit, introduit.
L’image se structure alors autour d’une dualité du poétique et du néant; de l’imaginaire de la rêverie de cieux constellés paradoxalement lié à celle de l’efficacité de l’arme à feu.
La confrontation à la fois douce et amère du regard face à la pensée évidente d’une culture qui génère ses propres esthétiques, dans un stéréotype, un standard populaire.
Trouble et malaise se définissent face à la contemplation et à la réaction...

The photographic series of Maxime Touratier may be apprehended as repertories; cartographic, architectic, aesthetic... at first glance.
The interrogation occurs whenthe image is built, a detail induces, introduces.
The image is built around a duel between the poetic and the nothingness, between the imaginary dreams of studded heavens paradoxically related to the effectiveness of the firearm.
We are confronted in the bittersweet of a distanced look upon the obvious thinking of a culture that generates its own aesthetic, in a stereotype, a popular standard: the home, to which we give a name.
Trouble and discomfort grow as the contemplation and reaction goes on...
